The Band of the South Australia PoliceThe band has won critical acclaim when invited to perform at various national and international events, but their main role is that of supporting the South Australia Police community programs initiatives. Whether presenting crime prevention programs or participating in state and ceremonial occasions, the band's performances appeal to a wide range of audiences from pre-schoolers through to senior citizens. The Band of the South Australia Police is very versatile and can be devolved into smaller musical groups to cater for a wide range of events and musical tastes. The different musical ensembles include: - the full Concert Band
- the Parade Band (ceremonial parade music and lively street processions)
- the School Beat Band and the Rock Patrol Band (taking music into schools to reinforce safety messages)
- the Big Band, Dixieland Jazz Band and a smaller jazz combo, the 'Sons of Zorro', and the mad-cap and zany 'Razz 5' (performing at anything from official balls to entertaining the public at shopping centres)
- bands for smaller venues, for example the Brass Quintet, Brass Ensemble, Woodwind Quintet and Saxophone Quartet (performing at events such as church services and government functions)
- the Fanfare Team, Percussion Ensemble and Display Drums Corps

To make a bookingThe Band of the South Australia Police only performs for official Police and State Government occasions and for recognised charities. Requests to book the band must be submitted in writing and include as much detail as possible such as: - Charity name
- Organiser name and contact details
- Event name and description
- Event Date and time (provide alternative dates/times, as the Band may have conflicting engagements).
- Event location
