The programs for children and young people in schools have a crime reduction focus and are tailored to cater for specific age groups. They address localised issues, ranging from bullying and peer group pressure, to police powers and drug misuse, including:

• safety programs
• the Crime Prevention Education Program
• lively musical programs delivered by sections of the Band of the South Australia Police
• road safety training.
