BankSA Crime Stoppers involves the police, the media and the community working together to help solve and prevent crime. The program is the most successful crime stoppers program in Australia, with an apprehension rate of one arrest for every six calls to the toll free number.

BankSA Crime Stoppers is operated by a dedicated police section and actively seeks your help in providing information about criminals, their activities and 'target crimes' that are featured in the media.

Rewards  

You may be eligible for a reward if your information leads to the report or arrest of an offender or the solving of a crime. Rewards range from $50 upwards depending on the severity of the crime, the number of offenders caught and the offences cleared up.

The Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) has now joined with South Australia Police and BankSA Crime Stoppers to help identify and convict arsonists. There are individual rewards of up to $25,000 for information leading to the conviction for arson of any person for destroying or damaging property insured by a member company of ICA or other participating insurance companies.
