Events & road closures

If you are planning an event that needs a road to be closed or traffic controlled, there are various permissions and assistance you will need to get from the relevant local council as well as from South Australia Police.

Some major public events may result in road restrictions or closures before, during and immediately after the event. Such closures should be notified in advance by the event organisers in the local press or media.
